After announcing the development of a new coronavirus vaccine, researchers at Oxford University have begun phase I clinical trials. This trial, ran by the Jenner Institute and the Oxford Vaccine Group at the Oxford Vaccine Centre, will test the new COVID-19 vaccine on healthy volunteers. According to the Vaccine Centre, the trial will "assess whether healty people can be protected from COVID-19 with this new vaccine ChAdOx1 nCoV-19."
