The Organic Deli Café Reinvents Itself In a Time of Crisis
Subject
The Covid-19 Pandemic and Oxford
Description
The Organic Deli Café, a local Oxford wholefood store, was significantly effected by the Coronavirus lockdown. The day-to-day operations of the café were all but shut down. However, owners Trevor Bennet and Cristina Campos have since watched their business take on a new role in the community. When supermarkets were emptied of essentials, the Deli found it could cater to those needs by shipping directly to customer's homes They have helped mitigate pressures on the food supply that often effect the most vulnerable in society.
